Karam Daoud
Karam Daoud (she/her) is a Moroccan-Canadian artist who moved from Morocco to Canada in 2012. Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, she wants to share her vision of the world through her writing and performances. As an Arab, Berber, and African woman, she doesn’t sees characters who look like her or whom she can easily relate to. She wants to show that there are at least as many stories to tell as there are people in the world, drawing inspiration from many incredible figures, including her mother. Karam spends her free time dancing, reading, and playing. Karam is also a member of a professional dance team called HopsKotch.
Karam recently wrote and directed her first play, Airborn(e) (2024). She also wrote and directed her first short film, Holiday (2021). Her recent performances include O Canada Té Qui Toi, stage theatre (2024), Gabrielle Roy, television series (2023), Avec ou Sans Filtre, stage theatre (2022), Cyborg, short film (2020), In Love We Survive, short film (2020), Love Letters for Juliette, virtual theatre (2020), The Iceberg, virtual theatre (2020), Measure for Measure, stage theatre (2020).

RAVER ROUGE sits at the intersection of electronic music and rhythmic exploration. With this new project, DJ, drummer, and beatboxer Daniel Roy has only one mission – to make the audience dance, and to do so, he pulls out all the stops!
