Join us on Sunday morning, January 18, at the TCM for a Japanese percussion performance known as Taiko.  Come and enjoy an energetic performance that combines martial arts athleticism, meditation, and rhythm with Fubuki Daiko.  

The show will be followed by a craft activity and a snack.

This event is free and in French. Space is limited. More information and reservations coming soon!

Artists: Fubuki Daiko

Fubuki Daiko reinvents Japanese drumming with their eclectic and energetic performances that are part martial arts athleticism, part meditation, and all rhythm. Trained by Grandmaster Seiichi Tanaka, the father of North American taiko, the group has thrilled audiences throughout Canada, the U.S, Mexico and Poland with their musicianship, humour, and sheer physical stamina. Their debut CD received a Prairie Music Award for Outstanding Instrumental Recording.
