TCM collects personal information only for the purpose of disseminating information about its shows, workshops and classes, fundraising and rental activities, and special events. This includes, but is not limited to, sending brochures and letters about our theatre, its season, classes and workshops, rental opportunities; providing information to ticket and/or subscription purchasers; appeals for donations; receipts for donations made or services purchased; processing credit card payments for services provided or donations made to TCM; billing for payments due to TCM; payments of fees, salaries, wages to contractors, employees; telemarketing.

These services require the collection of personal information, and TCM understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality. For this reason, TCM is committed to protecting the confidentiality of personal information and complying with its legal obligations regarding confidentiality, in accordance with the law and regulations on the protection of personal information and electronic documents.

To comply with its legal obligations, TCM is committed to ensuring that its employees, agents and authorized persons take all reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of personal information. TCM's obligations include protecting personal information from risks such as inappropriate collection, use, disclosure, storage or destruction.  TCM has appointed a Privacy Officer who is responsible for ensuring that the theatre complies with its legal obligations. The Privacy Officer may designate other individuals to assume responsibility for the day-to-day collection and processing of personal information.

If there are any issues that have not been expressly addressed in this policy, or if an individual requires clarification on how to implement or interpret this policy, or requests access to or changes to his or her personal information, such concerns shall be immediately brought to the attention of the Privacy Officer.
