Description
L’article 23 et sa suite
In 1985, L’article 23 by Claude Dorge, Gérard Jean and David Arnason drew rave reviews. Produced locally and a first collaboration with the Prairie Theatre Exchange, it was a comical and accusing look at the linguistic crisis that shook Manitoba in the early 1980s. Styled as a musical comedy-cabaret, it was performed in English and French, then adapted for television.
In 2020, the TCM is reviving it while exploring how the French-language community has changed over the past 35 years. A must-see to understand it all and remember it all. A must-see for a good laugh!
