TCM at Zones théâtrales
Zones Théâtrales is a biennial event whose mandate is to provide a showcase and meeting point for professional theatre from Francophone communities across Canada and the Quebec Regions. It’s an opportunity to discover fully staged theatre productions, new plays and works in progress, and to meet the artists behind these works.
Through French-language plays from across Canada, Zones Théâtrales invites the public and theatre professionals to discover some astonishing and dynamic approaches. From coast to coast, all the originality and diversity, and especially the vitality, of Franco-Canadian theatre are in the spotlight on the stages of our nation’s capital.

Cet été qui chantait
Based on the novel of the same name, Cet été qui chantait is a gentle, highly visual show, very much in keeping with Gabrielle Roy’s writing. Marie-Ève Fontaine transposes the Franco-Manitoban author’s deeply poetic universe to a puppet theatre setting, and invites the audience on a sensory journey that will appeal to young and old alike.
