Family Sundays are back! Discover and enjoy theatre as a family. Come join us and relax, have fun, dance, sing, craft and celebrate the warmer days ahead.
Join us on Sunday May 29th 2022 at 10 am at the FPFM (Fédération des parents de la francophonie manitobaine, 2-622 Taché Ave, Winnipeg) for a theatrical experience with Kristian Cahatol and Taylor Gregory followed by theatre games and a craft.
For children ages 5 to 10 years old.
Outdoor event in front of the FPFM! Don’t forget your lawn chairs or picnic blankets. In case of rain, event will be held indoors at the FPFM.
Title of the theatrical experience: Allô? Hello!
Synopsis: There is magic in the ability to communicate in an additional language, and this capacity opens up a new world full of marvelous connections.
Kristian Cahatol (pronouns iel/they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist with a love and curiosity for art and languages. After writing an original musical who earned the Best Production Prize during TCM’s Festival Théâtre Jeunesse in 2019, they have built up the courage to dive into Winnipeg vibrant theatre community. With a proud background in French immersion and currently studying music at the University of Manitoba, Kristian continues to search and get involved in local projects where they can combine their passions and celebrate creativity.

Taylor Gregory was born in Winnipeg and has been studying theatre formally and informally for over ten years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Theatre from the Faculty of Education of the University of Winnipeg, and has been teaching theatre in Greece in 2017 at the ACS Athens IB School. She loves to share her passion for theatre and her love of learning with her students. Taylor is the founder of Meraki Theatre Productions and also works with numerous other organizations, notably MTYP, Rainbow Stage and Théâtre Cercle Molière (2019 School Tour). Recently, she has completed the « L’adresse au jeune public » internship at the Banff Arts Center.
